How often you are named, model by model
Your buyers do not all use the same assistant, and the brands each one names can differ. Rankshift runs one prompt set on every model you select and puts the results side by side, so you can see where your brand is strong and where it falls behind.
- Visibility and citation rate per model
- The same prompt set on every model you select
- History per brand, prompt and model
Each model reads different sources
Models do not build their answers from the same pages. In this example, YouTube is the most cited source in AI Overviews and AI Mode, while the assistants lean on review sites such as G2 and Capterra. Rankshift lists the cited domains and URLs per model, so you know which sources matter where.
- Cited domains and URLs per model, ranked by frequency
- Your own citation rate in every model
- Sources where competitors are listed and you are missing

Questions about tracking AI models
Which AI models does Rankshift track?
Nine: ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews, Google AI Mode, Gemini, Claude, Perplexity, Microsoft Copilot, Llama and Mistral. The same prompts can run on each model, so you can compare your visibility from one model to the next.
Why track more than one AI model?
Each model is built by a different company and finds its sources in its own way. For the same question they can name different brands and cite different pages. A brand that is named first in one model can be missing in another, and you only see that when you track them side by side.
Do I have to track all nine models?
No. You choose which models to run and how often. Rankshift works with credits, so the number of prompts, the models you select and how often they run decide how much you use.
What does Rankshift measure in each model?
The same things in every model: how often your brand is named, its position among the brands in the answer, your share of voice next to competitors, the sources the model cites and the sentiment of what it says about you. In ChatGPT, Rankshift also records the web searches behind an answer and the ads shown in it.
What is the difference between Gemini, AI Mode and AI Overviews?
Gemini is Google's AI assistant, used in the Gemini app and on the web. AI Overviews and AI Mode are part of Google Search: AI Overviews are short summaries above the regular results, and AI Mode is a separate conversational tab. All three run on Google's Gemini models, but the brands and sources they return can differ, so Rankshift tracks them as three separate models.
Is Llama the same as Meta AI?
Not quite. Llama is the family of models that Meta releases with open weights, so other companies can run it in their own products. Meta AI is Meta's assistant in WhatsApp, Instagram and Facebook. In Rankshift the model is listed as Meta AI.
How often does Rankshift run my prompts in each model?
You set the schedule per prompt, daily or weekly. A model can answer the same question differently each time, so Rankshift stores the full answer of every run and reports visibility as a share of all runs. One check tells you very little.
